    Best read this year, so far. A dark tale of some messed up families, told largely from a perspective of a woman in a coma. There are unexpected twists and the story that unfolds ... remember the first time you read Gone Girl and thinking it was unusual? I had a similar experience reading this, knowing I hadn’t read anything like it before and I would be reading it again. I’m not even certain I find any of the characters likable, but I really like the way this tale spins. I’ll tell you what I told my reading friends: This is the next book you should read.

    I loved this book. I was fortunate to get an ARC. I couldn’t put it down. What happened to her? Why would her husband do that to her? So many questions. It keeps you guessing until the end.
