    When I started reading your first book Buried, I was so caught up with the story I could not put it down. I then purchased Forgotten and Exposed. It was captivating and kept my attention to see what would happen next I was happy to see the ending and that Chester was ok. Can't wait to read more of your books. I am a fan.

    Read all 3 novels, they were good, however thought they could have been condensed into one novel, eliminating the retelling of same information. I also think the swearing should be taken out as it adds nothing to the story.

    This is a compelling read in the 1st book. You get interested in the characters and the mystery but as the 1st book ends there are a lot of loose ends. I enjoyed the series less as I reached the 3rd book. Basically you have to buy the whole Twisted Cedars Trilogy to learn the entire story and the original 1st book "Buried" mystery isn't solved until the last book. This trilogy should have been published as one book. I'm getting really tired of paying $16.00 (trilogy) or more for substandard stories. The last books are always repetitive and slow. I'd love it if the authors that publish like this would put their story(s) in one book, develop the characters by giving each one their own identity instead of them all looking so flat; one "face & voice" blends into the other. The only character in this series worth reading about is Dougal but even he falls flat by book 3.

  • Not sure what was exposed

    Got the first book for free and it was interesting so got the remaining two books. The second one was interesting, and had some nice twists. The third one had gaping plot holes, weird character development, and a very strange dues ex machina popping in that did not even resolve all the questions. Glad I didn't waste more than 10$ on this unresolved mess.

    I downloaded the first book for free and loved it. It's so well written, tight and heart pounding, I immediately bought book two and then, of course, book three. I love how each book carried on with the major story and skillfully dove tailed the secondary stories and characters. The characters were well drawn, realistic and empathetic, except for Joelle. If Ed knew the truth about his father, what did Joelle and her baby have to do with it all and why did Ed kill them? Unfortunately that was never clearly answered and left a hole in an otherwise well written trilogy.

    Don't bother. I purchased the first in this series at a discount. It was entertaining so I wanted to read the next two. Part 2 and 3 add very little to the story that couldn't have just been in the first one. Two and three have to much filler of what happened in the first one.
  • Great Ending to a Wonderful Trilogy

    Great book, keeps you on the edge of each page every time. As the last installment in a three part mystery novel, very well done.
